about us | Denise Ducray Bio

Denise DucrayBorn and educated in Geneva, Switzerland, Denise Ducray has lived and worked in New York since 1982. Ever involved in interior design as well as style concepts, her journey encompasses a diversity of cultures, trades, and geographies.

First acquainted with the American way of life through the prestigious houses of Cartier and Christie's, Ducray conducted seminal missions for both companies, translating venerable images and mystiques for the tastes of modern audiences.

She then took a major step, starting a long lasting association with a multi-million private real estate development concern. Over the course of her ten-year collaboration she conceived, designed, and supervised all interior construction for residential, commercial and luxury hotel projects in New York, Acapulco and Miami - including Fisher Island.

Pursuing her conceptual venture in various design capacities, she opened Denise Ducray Design, Inc. in January 1996, in New York. Her objective is to understand her clients in order to custom-fit a surrounding that echoes their nature and fulfills their needs. This includes leading projects from construction management to interior design and furnishing.

Based on her values and a philosophy of lasting quality, Denise Ducray's concepts and keen knowledge of furniture, luxurious materials and textures, rich colors and light, produce an elegant canvas of original classicism.
